K-W Gymnastics Selected to Host the 2018 Canadian Championships in Artistic Gymnastics

WireService.ca Media Release (10/18/2017) – Over the six days of the event, more than 300 male and female athletes from age ten to Canadian national team members, will represent clubs from all over Canada. The men will compete in six disciplines including floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars, and the horizontal bar, while the women will compete in four disciplines including vault, uneven bars, beam, and floor. All of the competitions will be held at the 3,500-seat Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex Arena and general admission tickets will be available to the public.

Hosting a Canadian Championships on this scale is a major undertaking and we’re looking forward to working with all our partners to put gymnastics in the spotlight like it’s never been before. Canadians of all ages will have the chance to witness first-hand one of the world’s most enduring and compelling sports.”
